Pune Airport

The airport of Pune is one of the best airports of the country. It’s located approximately 10 km north east of Pune. It has a 2535 meter long runway oriented 10/28. The airport handles both domestic and international flights. Currently there are running two international flights which are by private  air to Frankfurt and by Air India express to Dubai.  Pune Railway Station

The railway station of Pune is the main railway head of Pune. It is the origin of Pune-Bangalore  railway line. It is well linked to the other cities of India by railway line. The station is administered by Pune railway division of the central railway division. It serves as a halt for  south bound trains from  Mumbai, Gujarat , Madhya Pradesh , Rajasthan.  There is also project of running bullet trains from Pune to Ahmadabad. Mumbai-Pune railway line was completed in 1856 and in the same year the first train ran from this station. There is one tourists train operated by Indian Railways, Deccan Odyssey. As compared to the other stations with internet cafe, online booking is available ,information booth and computerized processing , Pune station is better.
